New and Used PS3 Video Games Online

I bought a Playstation 3 gaming system a few months ago and am thoroughly impressed by it. As someone who also owns a Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360, I have to say that the Playstation 3 beats the others hands down. It has superior graphics, awesome multiplayer capabilities, and can serve as a Blu-Ray disc player. Plus, there is a huge library of excellent PS3 video games in all genres to keep me entertained.

In fact, the only thing I don't like about the system is the fact that PS3 video games are pretty expensive. They usually cost between $50 and $70 when brand-new, which is a lot. Since I'm on a limited budget, I have to find ways to stretch my gaming dollars as far as possible to ensure that I get to play all the great titles I want. Fortunately, I've been able to do just that, mostly by buying used copies or hitting up auction sites instead of heading to the nearest big box electronics retailer.

There are a couple of drawbacks to buying PS3 video games online, though. For one thing, I can rarely ever get the hottest titles at discount prices. So if there's a new release that everyone is looking forward to, like any of the Grand Theft Auto titles or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare sequels, I either have to pony up full price or wait a few months for people to start selling back their copies. Another drawback is that sometimes the used PS3 video games I buy don't come with an instruction manual. This might seem like a minor inconvenience, but obviously not every game uses the same controls or employs the same strategies. I'm the kind of person who likes to read the manual before starting the game so I know what moves to make and what I'm supposed to be doing. As a result, I always make sure to inquire about manuals before buying a used title.

Other than these two issues, I love being able to buy used PS3 video games. Because of the lower prices, I'm able to play two or three times as many different titles as I would if I bought everything new, and as a serious gamer, that's a major bonus. Plus, there's no noticeable quality difference between new and used PS3 video games, so it just makes sense to save money this way. And of course I can always turn around and sell my copies right back to the store when I'm done, which helps keep the cycle going.

For me, there's no better way of relaxing than settling in for the night with some of my favorite PS3 video games in front of me. It's fun and entertaining, and I've met a lot of new friends through our mutual love of gaming. Now that I've got a handle on where to buy cheap PS3 video games, I'm able to enjoy my hobby all the more!
