Earn Rewards with a Disney Credit Card

My family's favorite vacation destination is the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. We've gone there several times already, and had an absolute blast each time we went. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to see Mickey and friends for the past couple of years because of high gasoline prices and the general state of the economy. It's hard to justify spending over a thousand dollars on a quick theme park getaway when there are so many other financial problems I need to deal with. But I eventually do want to take my family back to Orlando, which is why I've recently applied for a Disney credit card.

The Disney credit card I want is issued by Chase, and comes with lots of benefits that make it an attractive option for me. For example, there's no annual fee, and Visa offers a 0% introductory rate for new cardholders. This will allow me to transfer high-interest balances from my other cards, saving me a lot of money right off the bat. Plus, the Disney credit card comes in a distinctive design featuring Mickey Mouse. It certainly looks much better than the plain old cards I usually carry around!

But of course the real reason for getting a Disney credit card is so I can take advantage of the special perks related specifically to the theme park. First of all, I can earn Disney Dream Reward Dollars with every purchase, and can then redeem those rewards at any of Disney's resorts, hotels, theme parks, cruises, and stores around the world. Second, this Disney credit card from Chase offers 0% "vacation financing" for six months! That means I can take my family back to Orlando (or maybe hit Anaheim this time), charge everything from airfare to entrance passes, and have six long months to pay it all back -- interest free! That sounds great!

In addition, there are always other special offers available only to patrons using a Disney credit card. These offers include things like free dining at the park, discount park tickets, discount golf packages, and free collectibles.

Applying for this Disney credit card was easy. I was able to review the terms and conditions online, and fill out an application right on the secure website. I received an approval very quickly, so I'll be receiving one of these awesome cards in the near future. After that, I'll just use the Mickey Visa as usual and start racking up my reward dollars as I work towards amassing enough points for a free hotel stay.

I know that having a Disney credit card doesn't mean I'll get a completely free vacation anytime soon, but it will definitely help get my family back to Orlando much quicker. It doesn't cost me any extra money or effort to use one of these cards, so I have nothing to lose here!
