Do Herbal Weight Loss Pills Really Work?

Do herbal weight loss pills really work or are they just a waste of money? This is the question that is often asked by people looking perplexed in the herbal remedies section at Whole Foods or Trader Joes. They stand there looking like they are trying to solve the mathematical formula for an advanced physics word problem. Asking for help from the minimum wage clerks wont help either. Those guys not only do not know the answer but they are not allowed to tell you even if they did. There is a reason that the FDA wont allow herbal remedies and pill manufacturers to put down what the pills purport to remedy. There is no scientific research on these herbal remedies and herbal weight loss pills are no exception.

Herbal weight loss pills are not the answer. At best all they will do is speed up your heart rate and make you sweat more at the gym. I dont know about you but I have no problem sweating when I work out 24 Hour Fitness. And speeding up your heart rate can cause serious problems and even death if you have high blood pressure for example. A person who suffers from irregular heartbeat should definitely stay away from herbal weight loss pills unless their doctor clears them to take it.

Going to your physician is definitely the best bet when mulling over whether or not to take not only herbal weight loss pills but any mysterious over the counter or prescription medicines. It only makes sense that the person who is most familiar with your present physical condition and health concerns should be the one to educate you on these alleged weight reduction pills.

My contention is that if these pills really worked like they claim to (although they are not allowed to make any claims whatsoever by the FDA) then believe me, we would all know about it and there would be a line a mile long of obese people in front of the GMC. So the simple answer is: No, herbal weight loss pills dont work.

No herbal weight loss pills, magic recipe, mysterious hypnotism, exotic acupuncture or anything else will make a person lose weight. The only way a person can really lose weight is to exercise regularly and eat the right foods in moderate amounts. This sounds simple and it really is. Push yourself away from the table, cut out fats and sugars and oil and go take a thirty to forty minute walk each day and you will see results. And let me tell you, it will be a lot more satisfying to you to know that you did it without resorting to some hocus pocus or mumbo jumbo. And that is what herbal weight loss pills really are and we all know it. The only reason people wonder if herbal weight loss pills really work is because they are skeptical and for good reason.

So leave the herbal remedies aisle and instead head to the fresh fruit and vegetable aisle. Stock up your shopping cart and push it to the checkout lane. You will feel better and save money to boot.
