Increase Muscle

Exercising is one of those things that all people do, in one form or another. Getting up and walking to the fridge for another beer? Yup, a kind of exercise, but not really going to give you any benefits as youre going to add more calories into your body than the exercise consumes, and this is the very essence of what exercise is all about. Burning calories, fat and carbohydrates. When your already fit, at that ideal body weight with your exact fat to muscle ration, you will probably start thinking about how to increase muscle mass on your frame. Not as simple as it sounds, folks.

Plenty of people go to the gym, pump iron for two or three hours, four or five times a week, and end up losing more weight without any increase in muscle. This is simply because like everything else out there in the weird wide world theres a right way and a wrong way to do things. To increase muscle, most doctors and surgeons will recommend a few things to you, but theres one main rule that a lot of people forget when it comes to diet and exercise, and that is that not all things work for everyone. What works for Gymhead Jon may not work for you, as both your bodies are not identical.

Tailoring a specific exercise and diet regimen for an individual is paramount to it succeeding, and the same goes for when you want to increase muscle. Its not enough to work out like an NFL linebacker, you still have to feed the machine with the correct items to help your body develop, and change, with its new shape. Throw into the mix that everyones metabolism is different and you have yourself a complicated SOB of a problem to fix. As an example, my wife works out 4 times per week, to try and gain some mass and to tone up, as she puts it. Failing miserably for about 3 years now doing this, as she just wont listen to the fact that the best method is to stretch yourself, that is if youve being using 40 pound weights for a time you need to raise it, then raise it again after a few weeks, and so on in order to gain the wanted mass. Me, I just do a couple of sit ups, and stretching exercises and bingo me 10-12 pounds lighter in two weeks, no kidding around! Thats just to illustrate my point about differences.

The main thing to increase muscle is to know what your doing, and make sure its right for you. Dont be afraid to chop and change things around until it works for you, and do rotate those exercises about a bit too dont always start off with the same set of reps each time. Consult your doctor and tell them about your goals and get feedback from them. Consult a private trainer or go onto a message board. Theres tons of ways to get advice for your specific need that will help you, and a lot are free, so dont be shy ask!
