Asian Cuisine



We all love good food and variety always does the trick. Asian cuisine is no exception and once you taste, you will definitely be asking for a second helping. Owing to immigration, Asian food is greatly influenced by many of its population who are from different parts of the world. When we talk of Asian cuisine, we are referring to the entire continent and this definitely gives a wide variety. This includes Central Asia, South Asia, South East Asia, East Asia and Middle Eastern Asia. Their cuisine is both traditional and modern and it is characterized by many spices which define the Arabic countries. Some of these foods include the Taiwan bizarre night which is some of her best snacks. Also available will be Chinese food which is very popular. Habitually, Chinese food is bite-sized and they are always ready for grabs. Other people will opt to use the famous chopsticks to eat all these famous delicacies.

Common with Chinese cuisine is a balance that they always seek to strike between fresh and pickled, hot and cold and mild and spicy. Their foods include animal products such as meat and eggs among others though mostly, especially in the olden times they would settle for greens and vegetables. They would then eat peanuts and other protein giving foods. Some of Chinese meals include fried rice and beef noodle. Japanese food includes noodles which make up most of their meals and they love having honey toast for desert. This toast is eaten with ice-cream of choice and sushi does not escape their menus either. When it comes to fruits, they love to eat Umeboshi which resembles paw paws and accompany their rice with miso soup. The Japanese also eat potato stew and beef which is famously known as Nikujaga which can be served with greens and rice or any other ideal accompaniment. Other common Asian cuisine includes the Thai cuisine and Asian fusion which includes an appetizer known as the creamy spicy crab. The main course contains crabs which are deep fried, radish which is white in colour and shredded and to complete this beautiful meal is a spicy sauce that bears an orange tint. The soup is made from coconuts and is at times served with tossed salad.

Philippines is not left behind and its cuisine includes fish and meat which are served with rice. Vegetables also make part of the meal though they are not very prominent. Popular foods in Philippines include pork and chicken which are not highly spiced. They are cooked in vinegar and garlic and make for a sumptuous eating. They also feed on prawns which are served with vegetables (sinigang na sugpo) which are served with a soup bearing the tamarind flavour. Among the Asian cuisine is the Korean kimchi which is very popular and is composed of a fermented cabbage which is spicy. As Koreans are party people, liquor does not escape their food and they love to drink Soju or the Korean Sake. Korean barbeques are famous and they include pork and Samgyeopsal. These delicious Asian cuisines are synonymous to Asia and are widely loved due to their variety.
