Power Up Devices with AA Rechargeable Batteries

I own so many handheld electronic devices that it's not even funny. From my cell phone to my iPod, digital camera, Playstation Portable, Nintendo DS, and netbook, I have a hard time keeping all the charging cables straight. I guess I should count myself lucky that all these gadgets come with their own battery packs; otherwise I'd have to spend a fortune replacing them. Still, there are some things that run on good old-fashioned Energizers, so that's why I thought it would be a good idea to purchase AA rechargeable batteries.

Today's sophisticated video game systems, including the PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii, all have wireless remotes that use battery power. I play these games so often that I have to recharge the remotes at least twice a week. I don't even want to think about how much money that would translate to if I didn't have these AA rechargeable batteries at my disposal! But since I can replenish the power supply at any time, I never have to worry about how many marathon gaming sessions I engage in.

Although purchasing AA rechargeable batteries requires a higher up-front investment, this initial outlay is definitely worth it in the end. This is particularly true if you're into gaming like I am, or if you have kids with lots of battery-operated toys. With regular use, you could start realizing savings in as short as one month by using AA rechargeable batteries instead of disposable ones.

Another great reason to purchase AA rechargeable batteries is that they're better for the environment. Think about it: it's not as though a regular battery is biodegradable or anything, so when you use up a bunch of them, you're just contributing waste to our already overflowing landfills. Using and reusing AA rechargeable batteries takes much less of a toll on the environment, which fits right in with the green lifestyles that are so popular today.

AA rechargeable batteries are widely available at electronics stores, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding them. If you want to save a bit on the purchase price, you could try looking for them on the Internet. I've found plenty of websites that sell these products for a nice discount, along with free shipping on most orders. That should be enough of an incentive to get you to buy!

As for me, I've completely converted to AA rechargeable batteries and won't even consider buying disposables anymore. I get the same powerful, long-lasting performance that the name brands give, and I'm able to recharge and reuse each battery as soon as the juice is gone. I'm saving cash and I'm saving the environment all by changing this one little aspect of my life. I don't know about you, but I think that's pretty cool!
