Designer Dining Room Furniture at Discount Prices

After living in a starter home for seven years, I've finally moved into a bigger place that better matches my current income level. I'm excited about all the space I have, and can't wait to start having friends over for dinner parties, movies, and board game nights. I especially love my dinner gatherings, so I'm going to spend extra time shopping for new dining room furniture to make sure that I get things exactly right.

At my last place, I was kind of stuck with second-hand dining room furniture because I was strapped for cash at the time that I moved in. Plus, I didn't think I'd be staying in that house for very long, so I didn't bother buying many new furnishings while I was there. Now, however, I'm ready to go all out to get my rooms looking just how I want them to. Sure, if money is an object and you have other pressing needs for your cash, then there's nothing wrong with going the discount route. But as I mentioned, I'm ready to take the next step, which is why I'm looking at designer dining room furniture right now. I envision a white marble table and matching chairs imported from Italy, as well as a sideboard in a similar design or pattern. I might also purchase a serving tray on rollers to help transport dishes to and from the kitchen in style. In addition, I'll definitely want to dress up the walls as well, so some nice artwork is on my shopping list as well.

Just because I want designer dining room furniture, that doesn't mean I'm willing to pay full price for it. There are several easy ways to gain access to discount pricing on these products, and it doesn't take a bunch of inside connections to get things done. First of all, there are "direct buy" clubs that I can join for a small membership fee, which will then allow me to purchase brand-name furnishings or other home decorating products at factory-direct prices. While I don't usually like to shell out for memberships, I have a feeling this one would pay for itself pretty quickly.

Another way to find designer dining room furniture at discount prices is to shop online. There are a few reputable websites out there that sell high-quality imports, just like I want, for far less than retail. This is a more hit-and-miss approach, however, as I'll likely have to settle for whatever products the site has on hand and wouldn't be able to custom order anything.

Well, no matter how I actually end up buying my dining room furniture, I'm just happy that it will eventually be done. I'm anxious to get my famous parties rolling again, so I better start shopping in earnest now!
