Back when I was pregnant for the first time, my best friend organized a shower for me. I was lucky enough to receive the backpack and face out version, and both got lots of use during my child's infancy. To me, the backpack style is by far the easiest way to carry babies, as this leaves you free to move your hands and arms and carry stuff without worrying about bumping baby's head. But the face out style model is excellent too, as this allows your child to take in all the stimulating sights and sounds as you both move about. But all parents seem to have their own preferences, which is why it's great that Evenflo baby carriers come in all these varieties.
